The Serpentine Joint™ Assembly is a partial-depth, fully anchored, armored joint system. The sinusoidal design provides superior load-bearing capacity with dynamic and static loading across slabs for a shock-free, quiet surface. By eliminating impact on the joint, forklift wheels move evenly across construction joints without joint filler in facilities where thermal changes cause joint opening and closing. The Serpentine™ Joint Assembly is easily installed at the job site on traditional timber forms by aligning the nail plate, adjusting the final grade, and locking the assembly in place with nails. Pocket formers and plate dowels should be added for load transfer.
American Highway streamlines dowel design with advanced tools, customizing dowel basket dimensions for cost-effective, high-performance results in demanding environments. Our engineers use the proprietary Dowel Optimizer to calculate ideal dowel size, spacing, and performance, meeting safety standards and reducing installation costs while ensuring long-lasting durability under heavy traffic.
The Serpentine™ Joint Assembly from American Highway eliminated joint issues in our warehouse floor, delivering smooth, durable performance under heavy forklift traffic!
